OUR EXPORT STORY

In 2007 Manbulloo started  exporting our Manbulloo Australian mangoes and some mangoes from other best practice mango growers.  We  established our own export company then started supplying amazing Australian varieties – Kensington Pride and R2E2 - directly to mainland China and the Republic of Korea as well as the United Kingdom, Europe, Russia, New Zealand, Singapore, the Middle East, Canada and the United States of America. As growers and exporters, we  benefitted when the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) and the Korea-Australia Free Trade Agreement (KAFTA) were implemented. Today, around 10 per cent of Manbulloo’s crop is sent to export markets.

Many global markets and customers love our Australian mangoes and demand is strong.

Manbulloo has navigated international markets over many years – a key step has been finding the right supply chain partners who are prepared to handle mangoes using best practice and with care. Always our priority is growing and handling our mangoes so that they taste and look great for consumers

The goal is to work with our partners to build demand. We believe that a key to export is building demand and being committed to being ready to fulfil that demand. We have been on the journey of innovation that comes with building new export markets. We are constantly  exploring ways to improve efficiency and find more effective ways of  operating” - Marie Piccone, Founder and Managing Director, Manbulloo

The export market is competitive, so Manbulloo makes sure we have a unique point of difference by prioritising flavour and the eating experience. We have identified that the emotional, happy-memory experience is key when people buy and eat our mangoes, so we focus on making sure our mangoes are exported and delivered at the highest standard to deliver an attractive  and valuable eating experience bursting with flavour.
